Home of the North Dakota State Fair

The North Dakota State Fair in Minot is a blur of rides, concerts, food and games each summer.

Nicknamed “The Magic City” for its initial rapid growth, Minot is the business and shopping hub for north-central North Dakota. The city’s historic downtown area is nestled in a valley carved out by the Souris River that flows through Minot from west to east, with hills rising up on the north and south sides of the city.

The Minot Air Force Base, located 13 miles to the north, has been an integral part of the community since the 1950s. Minot’s steady growth offers business and career opportunities, while its friendly neighborhoods make it a great place to call home.  Watch this video to see what Minot has to offer.
